WHAT YOU’LL ACHIEVE
01
PRIVATE PILOT LICENSE
Embark on the journey to earn the driver’s license of the
skies! This certification will empower you to fly nearly
anywhere in the United States and even outside the U.S., in
compliance with the regulations of the foreign country where
the aircraft is operated. You’ll have the capacity to carry and
share expenses with as many passengers as your aircraft
legally allows, and fly up to 18,000 feet under Visual Flight Rules
(VFR). This is where every great pilot’s journey begins.

HANDS-ON FLIGHT TRAINING
Take to the skies with a minimum of 50 hours of flight time, which includes 20 hours of flight training with an instructor
on the Private Pilot areas of operation and 10 hours of solo
flying. Experience the thrill of cross country and night flight
training in a single-engine airplane. Each training session will
provide opportunities for critical thinking and hands-on
learning in a real-world aviation context.

20+ ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE AND PROFICIENCY AREAS
Learn from experienced instructors as you cover key
knowledge and proficiency areas required for a Private Pilot
License. These include understanding Federal Aviation
Regulations, accident reporting, aeronautical chart use for
VFR navigation, radio communication procedures, weather
reports and forecasts, aircraft operations, the effects of
density altitude, weight and balance computations,
aerodynamics principles, stall awareness, aeronautical
decision making, and more. Each lesson will further your
proficiency and preparedness for the flight world, preparing
you for the challenges and rewards of a career in aviation.
